Success lies in how you handle defeat.
I read an article this week in Business Insider that while directed towards adults pertains to a daily goal of mine I try and teach in P.E.
While P.E. is about physical education, more importantly we are practicing life skills in a very real way each class. My belief in why attitude is more important than IQ is something that is learned when you are young. While this is not a new profound thought, "when it comes to success, it's easy to think that people blessed with brains will inevitably leave the rest of us in the dust. But new research from Stanford University will change your mind (and your attitude)."
It is my goal to make P.E. a place for your child to practice this life skill so that they may be successful (whatever your definition of that may be) in life.
Check out the following article to read more about fixed mindset v.s. growth mindset, why failing is important, and some major points to help your child be successful in sports, school, and to set them up for success when they get out in the real world :)
